following a picture, finding a place
A farmhouse in Kriens, Lucerne served 1963 as a model for a painting by Robert Zünd. On the traces of this work we rediscovered the house and were fascinated by the idyllic atmosphere surrounding this place.
The Schellenmatt, how the place is called, witnessed big changes over the past 150 years and became more and more an island within new constructions and industrial buildings. The research of the original space lead us from the two-dimensional painting into the actual space and from the past to the present.
